Holy Week Services

We will be joining other Lutheran Churches for Holy week services. 

 
Maundy Thursday
March 29, 2018 at 7 pm.  Join us for worship at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 210 Brick Church Road, Newville, PA.  The service will include Holy Communion with Stripping of the Altar.

Good Friday
March 30, 2018 at 7 pm.  Join us for worship at Center Lutheran Church, 1498 Center Newville, PA. 


Cross Walk
March 30, 2018 meet at 6:45 pm and start at 7pm.  Please meet at Zion Lutheran Churches gravel lot behind the church.  From there we will carry a large cross and walk through the city of Newville.  At predetermined spots around town we will stop to pray for our community, nation and world.

Easter Vigil
March 31, 2018 at 7 pm.  Please join us at Big Spring United Lutheran Church, 101 Crossroad School Road, Newville, PA for this meaningful worship experience. 

Easter Sunday
April 1, 2018 at 9 am. Easter Worship Service with Holy Communion at Zion Lutheran Church, 51 West Main Street, Newville, PA. 
Welcome to worship on this special day.
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” God has indeed raised from the dead the one who was put to death “by hanging him on a tree.” Alleluia! God allows Jesus to appear “to us who were chosen by God as witnesses” in holy baptism and invites us to eat and drink at the table of the risen Christ. Alleluia!
