NEIGHBORS IN CHRIST (NIC) is a ministry to relieve sudden financial crisis to Big Spring area residents. Volunteer board members screen clients thoroughly before authorizing checks to service providers.
NIC is a community organization that meets at First United Presbyterian Church on Saturdays beginning at 8:30 a.m.
They assist only those who currently live in the Big Spring School District.
They help with rent, utilities, medical bills, food and other needs. They do not help with security deposits.

Our clients are your neighbors, family members and friends who depend upon the community’s generosity and support. Spiritual encouragement and church referrals are part of every interview. Local churches, businesses and individuals provide all funding.
