Celebrating the amazing ladies at Zion
Celebrating the amazing ladies at Zion
August 27, 2018 Newville Elementary first day of school. Debbie Sweger and Velva Kyner handing out cupcakes as the children head home.
Doug Nelson, hauling a load of donated round bales from Steve Mallory’s (Ridgeview NH) farm in Madison, VA to tornado ravaged Mayfield, KY area farmers. Steve donated all the bales and Doug helped coordinate the hauling of 3 of 5 loads including this load he is hauling personally. Tim Barrick (Neva’s son) let Doug use one of his trucks to pull our trailer…. His son Josh took a load out a week earlier.
They hauled 123 bales to Mayfield KY to feed some hungry cattle and hopefully take some burden off a few farmers that have lost so much with the recent storms. Let's keep these families and farmers in our thoughts and prayers as they rebuild their lives and start over.
Thanks to this awesome congregation (Zion) who donated $500 to help cover Doug’s fuel costs to do the run and also to Joey Diehl for pulling together 12 bags of coats to take along.
