Learning

Education is important for learning and growing in your faith.  Learning is important for all ages and during all steps of your Christian formation.

Zion offers learning opportunities for all ages:

For children and youth:  Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school year at 10:30 am.  We have classes beginning at age 2 through 12th grade.

For junior high students: Confirmation class is typically for middle school aged youth.  This two year class is made up of two sections: Bible year and a year about Faithful Living.  If you have a student who would be of age, please contact Pastor.

For adults: Adult Sunday school classes meet on Sundays at 10:30 am with various topics and presenters.  There are two different class options.  One class focuses on current topics of interest, while the other focuses on Scripture study.  We encourage all members to attend one of the classes so they can continue to grow in their spiritual journey. Class topics and teachers vary throughout the year.

Wednesday evenings is another time for learning.  Pastor Amy offers classes throughout the year.  These 45 minute sessions focus on Scripture or other topics that the class is interested in learning.
